Chapbooks!

Friends,

We're very excited to very officially announce the release of E.C. Messer's Gastrobestiary, and Tara Walker's Sewn Into the Nest.

Look for them to your left. Readings will be... sometime soon, we swear!

AWP this week!

Dearest Loves,

Just dropping in to say that Ice Box will be at the AWP Book Fair this Thursday through Saturday, sharing a table with the Poetry Center of Chicago. Stop by! Our chapbooks make for great gifts and party favors.

I'm also super happy to say that we will have Erin and Tara's books ready for sale at AWP. We'll have more details on reading events soon!

Special thanks with to all who came out to support us yesterday in our folding marathon: Kristiana Colon, Kristine Domingo, Suzy Morgan, Tara Walker, Mike Winstead and Melissa (sorry, I don't know her last name, but she got the most gold stars). We only had one exacto knife related injury (my thumb), so the day was a success.

Much Love, Mary

Many Thanks!

Friends,

With our first production run geared up and ready for the world market, I'd like to take a small moment to give thanks and the warmest regards to all of the lovely folks who helped Ice Box Press in making these chapbooks a (wild!) success:

Sally Alatalo, Zak Boerger, Naima Booker, Kristiana Colon, Elizabeth Cross, Amber Da, Calvin Forbes, Carrie Gundersdorf, Amira Hanafi, E.C. Messer, Maribel Mares, Suzy Morgan, Daniel Park, Ryan Pendell, Miriam Pinchuk, Anndell Quintero, Todd Rau, Jordan Scrivner, and Mike Winstead. (I hope I haven't forgotten anyone.)

We are very passionate about this project, and we truly value the support of SAIC and all of our wonderful friends: this would not have been possible without your time and energy and love. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I really can't say it enough.

With love,
Mary
